We accept cash, Venmo (both of those fee-free payment methods are always greatly appreciated!), all major credit cards, and FSA/HSA cards; you will need to obtain a "letter of medical necessity" from a qualified health care professional to use FSA/HSA funds. Please let us know if you would like assistance with this (this is for your own records and to provide to your insurance company if requested, and we do not need a copy of this), and if using a FSA/HSA it is recommended that you do not purchase a series, but rather each session individually.
I only ask that you treat us the same way that you would like to be treated! If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us the courtesy of at least 24-hours notice (please do not use email to cancel if less than 48 hours, as we may not see it right away). If an emergency comes up, or illness comes into your family suddenly, we of course will be understanding, but cancellations of less than 24 hours, as well as no-shows, may be expected to pay the full amount of their session fee. Repeated no-show clients will kindly be asked to find another massage therapist. Remember, we are an appointment based practice- when you schedule, you are paying to reserve our time. In addition, our schedule often books out a week or more in advance and that 24 hour notice is essential to allowing someone else to fill the empty spot. We always strive to be mindful of and respectful of others' time, and appreciate that respect in return. Thank you!
Regarding Series of Sessions:
We love offering discounts via our packages, intended for those clients who are coming in regularly. A series of 3 is intended to be used in 6 months, and the series of 6 or 12 are intended to be used in 12 months. We know that sometimes life gets in the way and you may end up with an "expired" session. We never want you to lose a session you've paid for, and so we are happy to reactivate a session up to 90 days after the expiration date. After this time, we can return the unused percentage of your original purchase in the form of a gift certificate (ie, if you have one session left from a series of 3, 1/3 of your original purchase price will be returned as a gift certificate). If you end up with an expired session more than once, we will ask that you switch to purchasing single sessions.Thank you!
Covid Protocols/Sick Policy:
Our covid protocols have shifted and evolved over time (they used to take up a whole page!), and we have shifted/settled into long term protocols that are meant to be in place indefinitely.
On your end, this means:
*you are not experiencing symptoms of ANY communicable illness
*no one in your family is experiencing symptoms of any communicable illness outside a kid-has-a-cold situation (if your partner/child has the flu/stomach bug/etc, stay home please!)
*you do not have any reason to be in quarantine per the current CDC Guidelines , nor have you been asked to quarantine by a medical professional. Sick clients will be turned away and asked to reschedule.
On our end, this means that:
*in addition to our standard cleaning and handwashing protocols that have been in place forever, we now implement additional disinfection of the treatment room between sessions, and have HEPA filter air purifiers running in every treatment room
Masks are not required in our space, as only healthy people who have not recently been exposed to covid are permitted in our office, but of course you are welcome to wear one if you would prefer. We look forward to greeting you with a smile! Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to request a masked therapist. We may not be able to accommodate your request without advance notice.
