Acupuncture Services

We are beyond thrilled to announce that we are now offering acupuncture at Exhale!

Please give a warm welcome to Vashni Nilon, L.Ac. Welcome to the Exhale team ❤️

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into strategic points on your body. With a history that dates back thousands of years, it is a cornerstone of Traditional Chinese Medicine. TCM explains acupuncture as a method of assisting the body in balancing the flow of energy (chi/qi) that flows through pathways (meridians) in the body. Needles are inserted along these meridians to affect specific areas or systems of the body. From a western medicine perspective, acupuncture works by stimulating the central nervous system, releasing chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord and brain. These biochemical changes may stimulate the body's own innate healing ability, promoting physical and mental well being.

Whether you're struggling with acute or chronic pain, are seeking fertility support, help managing anxiety or depression, or seeking support for any imbalance in body or mind, we invite you to reach out. You can learn more about Vashni and her background and specialties on the "About Us" page.

First Visit- Your initial visit will last approximately 75 minutes. Vashni will take a complete health history, discussing any concerns you may have, before providing a complete first treatment. Each session is customized to your unique needs, and may include any combination of acupuncture, dry needling, Gua Sha, moxibustion,  and cupping.

First Visit pricing: $130

Follow Up Visits: This 60 minute appointment will incorporate a quick check-in of symptoms and concerns and customized treatment time lasting 45-50 minutes.

Single session: $105; Series of 3 sessions: $285 ($95 each); Series of 6 sessions: $540 ($90 each). See "FAQ's" for questions about series of sessions.

Dry needling mini-session: this 20 minute treatment is intended to be an adjunct to a massage therapy session. Perfect for helping to break up those stubborn chronic tension spots/trigger points, dry needling increases circulation, disrupts the muscle/fascia tension pattern and reduces pain. Online scheduling is not available for this session type, please reach out to schedule a dry needling mini session to accompany/follow your massage therapy appointment (and if you would like dry needling to be incorporated into a full length acupuncture treatment, just ask! Dry needling is one of several complementary modalities that may be incorporated into your acupuncture sessions).

Dry needling mini session pricing: $40 (Promo offer- $30 for the month of February!)

Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture- this service (often touted as a natural alternative to Botox or other cosmetic injectables) enhances the production of collagen via micro-injury to the skin, reduces inflammation, and can make your skin look smoother, younger, and all around healthier. How does it work? The needles create positive microtraumas, which send the skin into repair mode. Your lymphatic and circulatory systems are stimulated, which work together to deliver nutrients to these tiny "injury sites", truly nourishing it from the inside out. This evens out your complexion and gives you that "glow" and the increased collagen production improves skin elasticity, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. Facial gua sha and facial cupping may also be incorporated into this treatment.

For maximum results, 4 weekly sessions are recommended. Each session is a 60 minute appointment, 50-55 minute treatment time. Please let us know if you have questions about this or any other service.

Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture pricing: Single session $130; Series of 4 sessions $480 ($120 each).

We accept cash, Venmo (both appreciated), all major credit cards, and FSA/HSA cards.

Please reach out and let us create a customized treatment plan. Schedule via the Mindbody app, via our scheduling page, or reach out to us directly (info@exhalemainline.com / 610-271-8170). We look forward to serving you.
