All of our small group classes are designed to be inclusive to all bodies and abilities. We work to calm the mind (Yoga Sutra 1.2), cultivate comfort and stability in the body (YS 2.46), and incorporate the 8 limbs in to a well rounded practice. Nervous system nourishment, conscious breathwork, postures, guided relaxation and meditation are all components.
Hatha yoga:Traditionally, hatha yoga refers to the physical practices of yoga (like postures and breathwork) used to balance body and mind in preparation for deeper meditative practices. In the West, it’s often understood as a slower-paced, beginner-friendly class. At Exhale, it’s both. This class blends strength, stability, and gentle unwinding, often centered around traditional sun salutations. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll find a supportive space to move mindfully, build resilience, and create balance in body and mind.
Gentle yoga: A deeply nourishing practice designed to soothe the nervous system. Through soft, intentional movement, gentle breathwork, and guided relaxation (savasana), this class invites you to slow down, release tension, and cultivate a sense of calm in both body and mind.
Guided Stillness Session: A free virtual offering via Instagram live. This practice lasts approximately 20 minutes, and may be a guided systematic relaxation, guided visualization, or object (breath or mantra) focused meditation. No meditation experience necessary.
