Retreat Sample Schedule

Below you'll find a sample schedule for our weekend. Times/events may be adjusted as we get closer to the date. 

Sessions run by Sarah Martyn and/or private for our group are highlighted in blue. All other events are run by Himalayan Institute staff and may include participants who are not in our group. 

And please remember, this is YOUR retreat! Participate in as much or as little as you'd like. 7:00am yoga may sound divine to some and torture to others; be on the schedule that best supports you

Friday

3:30-4:30 PM Chai and cookie social 

5:00-6:00 PM Yoga class taught by HI faculty

Or

6:00 PM Prayers/meditation in the Sri Vidya Shrine

6:00-7:00 PM Dinner 

7:30-9:00PM Group Session #1 in Sunset Room- introductions, intention setting and yoga nidra

 

Saturday 

6:00 AM Morning prayers in Sri Vidya Shrine

7:00-8:00 AM Yoga Class taught by HI staff

7:30-8:30 AM AM Breakfast

9:30 AM -12:00 PM Group Session #2 in Sunset Room (details TBA)

12:30 PM Sri Sukta recitation in Sri Vidya Shrine

12:30-1:30 PM Lunch

2:00-2:45 PM Moka Origins Tour and Chocolate Tasting

3:00-6:00 PM Free time for trails and Wellness Center (opportunities for 1-on-1 somatic mindfulness sessions and/or stress management coaching sessions with me will also be an option during this time, for an additional fee)

6:00 PM Prayers/meditation at Sri Vidya Shrine

6:00-7:00 PM Dinner

7:30-9:30 PM Bonfire at Sunset Pond

 

Sunday

6:00 AM Prayers/meditation at Sri Vidya Shrine

7:00-8:00 AM Yoga class taught by HI staff

7:30-8:30 AM Breakfast

9:30 AM-12:00 PM Group Session #3 in Sunset Room (details TBA)

12:30 PM Checkout 

12:30-1:30 PM Lunch

1:30 PM Departure (or stay a bit longer for trails, meditation shrine, wellness services, etc)
